Private Lessons

Expand on your current fitness routine or learn about the fundamentals of Lagree with private, one-on-one instruction.

Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity workout that focuses on core, strength, and muscular endurance training. This method is so effective for any level of fitness — each move can be modified for more or less intensity.

Whether you are a Lagree newbie, or currently practicing multiple times a week, I curate each private session to meet your fitness goals.

  • Receive more detailed instruction than you would in a group class

  • No intimidation of having to work out in front of people you don’t know

  • Providing personal accountability and motivation on your fitness journey

  • Ultimately get the fastest results out of your workouts!

Meet the Microformer

where PRIVATE LESSONS take place

The microformer is a lightweight, compact machine based on the design of the megaformer using a front and back platform and carriage.  Don’t be fooled by its size; most traditional Lagree moves that can be performed on the megaformer can also be performed on the microformer, and there are even some additional floor exercises that can only be performed on the microformer.  All movements will have the same intensity as the megaformer and are controlled by heavy and light resistance springs.

FAQs

  • Pilates and Lagree are two completely different forms of exercise. Both great for different reasons, Lagree focuses on high-impact, low-intensity moves that will increase your heart rate, burn calories, and provide muscle strength and endurance. Pilates is based on breathing, concentration, control, precision and flow.

  • Please bring grip socks, water, and a towel. Believe it or not, you will sweat!

  • Yes! In fact, I recommend private lessons especially if it is your first few times taking Lagree. Lagree classes are intended to be fast-paced with very little rest during transitions, so privates are a great way to learn about the machines and familiarize yourself with the lingo, modifications, and correct form before diving into a group class.

  • It depends on your fitness goals and looks different for every body. Once or twice per week might be all your need if you are incorporating other forms of exercise, and 4-5 sessions per week might be a good fit if this is your only form of exercise. I can help find the right balance for you based on your goals and current fitness routine.

  • Yes! Lagree is great way to safely strengthen your core and pelvic floor during pregnancy and postpartum. Every move can be modified and one on one instruction will set you up for success so that you have the tools to safely and effectively strengthen your muscles during this time.

Living with an autoimmune disease, I know how important strength is to support bone and joint health. I’ve found that Lagree is one of the best ways to increase muscle strength by using resistance springs and body weight!
